The high brass of the Pakistan Army has reaffirmed its “principled stance,” according to which Islamabad completely supports the Gazan people in their war against Israel, even as the invaders’ bombing of the strip goes on unabatedly. The stance calls for an end to the illegal occupation. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the event occurred during the 260th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), which was convened by General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), on Tuesday in Rawalpindi. The conference expressed worry over the current developments in the Gaza-Israel conflict and the significant human cost being borne by innocent civilians as a result of Tel Aviv’s disproportionate use of force. Israel has been preparing a ground assault and pounding the Hamas-ruled region following the bloodiest attack in its 75-year history.
