Pakistan angered over Israeli minister’s threat to nuke Gaza

Pakistan on Monday voiced deep outrage over the remarks made by an Israeli official that his country was thinking of launching nuclear bomb on Gaza, the territory where Hamas and Israeli forces have been fighting for more than month. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released statement saying, “We are appalled by statement of an Israeli minister threatening nuclear force against Palestinians.” Speaking on Sunday, Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu  stated that launching “nuclear bomb” on the Gaza Strip is “an  option,” the local Anadolu Agency reported. The Foreign Office stated that the statement shows desire for  genocide and ethnic cleansing. “This is wake up call for int’l community to the threat posed by  Israeli aggression to regional peace, security stability,” the  ministry of foreign affairs stated.
