On Tuesday, Ms. Jo Moir, the Development Director of the British High Commission in Pakistan, decided to strengthen Pakistan’s cooperation with the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) in crucial sectors for the country’s socioeconomic growth.
She also pledged her complete assistance in investigating cutting-edge green financing tools to address climate change and support social sector initiatives in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs during a meeting with Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema.
According to a news release, senior representatives from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and FCDO team leader Rizwan Azam were also present at the meeting.
Ms. Jo Moir also described how Pakistan’s bureaucratic structure could be strengthened by leveraging the UK’s experience in public administration.
