Pak-Saudi economic ties enter a new era: PM

The economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have entered a new phase, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as both nations prepare to take significant steps to increase their bilateral trade volume.

During a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, on the fringes of the World Economic Forum Special Meeting, the prime minister stated that the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) was actively promoting and facilitating foreign investment in the nation.

The Saudi minister informed the prime minister that trade and investment with Pakistan were the Kingdom’s top priorities, as directed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He further mentioned that a group of Saudi businessmen would soon be in Pakistan.
