Pak, Kazak collaboration in IT sector discussed

On Tuesday, Yerzhan Kistafin, the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, and Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the minister of state for information technology and telecommunication, spoke about their country’s cooperation in these areas.

The minister mentioned Pakistan’s desire to deepen telecom and IT cooperation with Kazakhstan at the meeting.

According to a news release, she suggested creating a cooperative working group between the two nations to promote communication between tech companies on both sides.

Shaza Fatima further recommended that Pakistan and Kazakhstan start up exchange programmes for IT professionals and technology transfer.

She asked tech companies in Kazakhstan to explore investing in this attractive sector by highlighting the investment opportunities in Pakistan’s IT and Telecommunication sector.
