On Wednesday, Pakistan and China decided to further strengthen their unbreakable friendship and maintain the momentum that their bilateral relations are experiencing in all areas of cooperation.
Senior officials from both sides attended a meeting between Chinese Executive Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, during which the topic of bilateral ties was discussed.
During a four-day visit to China, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister expressed shock and sympathy for the Shangla incident on March 26, 2024, promised zero tolerance for those responsible, and praised the contributions of the Chinese workers who lost their lives.
The two leaders had a thorough conversation about a range of topics pertaining to bilateral ties, such as trade, economic cooperation, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (Phase-II).
