Prof. Dr. Asif Ali is king of social entrepreneurship. The reason behind the cogent fact is one dogma of him “if I can, can then you can, can”. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Asif Ali is propagandist of top down and bottom up approach and disseminating beseechingly beseeching training of leadership. That is why now every single day MNS-UAM is getting sheer success and progressing internationally.

Scientist-cum-philanthropist like Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali is a true example of bourgeoisie, people like him born in centuries because the one he who deadly believes in the power of hard work and here we see the chain of success stories not with rhetoric but with reality. I personally feel from Steve Jobs to Sheryl Sandberg to Sam Walton to Jack Ma, the thoughts and gimmicky ideas of Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali may lift your mood and make you a positive catalyst for change.

Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali is honored to have nomination of MuhammadAsim a student of B.ScAgriculture, 5th semester from MNS-UAM. Muhammad Asim has been shortlisted to participate in International Students Visit Program 2020 London under Citizenship Education and Community Engagement Program. Muhammad Asim a student of undersigned conducted a Social Action Project dated 21st April 2018 title “Awareness on Organic Kitchen Gardening” with high school students of Multan.

Asim conducted this activity in coordination with ORIC MNS-UAM. Prof. Dr. ZulfiqarAli himself have keen interest to polish budding and novel Social Action Plans of students under the project of British Council Pakistan. The inevitable presence of Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali at office of research innovation and commercialization is more than a blessing for a new born University like MNS-UAM. It is a matter of great importance that scientists are sages of the age. Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali is multi-dimensional personality irrespective of science, philosophy and seed research he is master of social entrepreneurship.

In ISV 2020 London along with Director ORIC role of Dean Agricultural, Dean Social Science, Principal Officer Student Affairs, Director Student Affairs, Senior Tutor and Madam Bakhtwar have been indispensable
As per British Council United Kingdom stance the main objective of International Study Visit is this that an international group visits a country to explore social development issues and learn about the methods local communities have found for addressing these issues.
During the week-long visits, participants share skills, knowledge and experiences from their local communities. Powerful bonds formed between the participants often lead to collaborative Social Action Projects in the future. Recently, participants have attended ISVs in the UK, USA, Uganda, Egypt, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia and beyond.

British Council Pakistan through Higher Education Commission Islamabad introduced Citizenship Education and Community Engagement Program in all major Universities of Pakistan. Each year students identify social problems by their own and find solution without any financial support from University of Agriculture Multan and British Council Pakistan. The University only provides skilled mentors to let the students pave the way and find solutions. Interestingly when it comes to practicability the student of MNS-UAM made history and astonished British Council too. Out of 85 Universities of Pakistan Muhammad Asim a student of MNS-UAM has been short listed for ISVP London 2020 because of his volunteer work among school going youth.

ORIC of MNS-UAM help and assist students to organize Social Action Projects in local communities out of University. The students just tender their Social Action Projects at ORIC further ORIC plays as a role of positive catalyst for change, paves the way for students to “dream a little dream”. ORIC is taking a baby step and a baby step what though everything takes time it is truth as sung by “everything takes time as every song needs a rhyme” by Hazel Faith Dela Cruz”.

ORIC is more than a bridge to connect students with community so that they may learn and practice their ideas as a leader.
Through community Social Action Projects students get in touch with the British Council’s concept of “globally connected locally engaged”. Amazingly the incumbent world is at summit of science and technology by one single click we may connect the whole of known world but pathetically we do not know what happening within our clan and community.

We are having fastest communication through social media but we do not know about a blind, dumb-cum-deaf person next to our door. If we are truly connected with living world we must connect with local communities. If not so we will be monarch of providing nauseatingly hypocritical lip services. Furthermore we will just propagate gobble up. These technologies and material advancement will never hug back as Mitch Elbon of Tuesday with Morrie said that “without love we are like birds with broken wings”

Youth have a particular role in our society. Pakistan is blessed to have more than 65 percent of Youth but the need of the hour is this that let that youth be source of leadership and community development with extensive skill trainings. They must get rid from the titanic tension of bread and butter surely they will do miracles and make Pakistan’s name bright.

Prof. Dr. ZulfiqarAli igniting lightamong youth at large. Surely he want to see the youth of New Pakistan as Pundit of social entrepreneurship. It is necessary to have maximum outcome for a civilized society. Social Action Projects are important because some time I as a mentor see that students ready to work on covert and hugger-mugger topics that one may not able to talk openly in our society.
I must appreciate two projects which we conducted in coordination with ORIC MNS-UAM firstly “Child Sexual Abuse” by MazharFareed Griffins group secondly “HIV AIDS and our Health” by Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman Proud of MNS-UAM group they went into society and talk about both issues.

In our society AIDS and child sexual abuse is common. We only pay heed when incident like ‘Zanib’ became talk of town but my question is this that we may have a training to our kids about “private parts” and “good touch and bad touch” so they must be well aware that who is touching them and for what.
In the same way unfortunately Pakistan is having more than 5 hundred thousand HIV and AIDS positives astonishingly majority of HIV positives is from youth. So still we need to do a lot at grassroots community level.
I am honored to write that ORIC MNS-UAM is making the Youth of South Punjab as a leader, volunteer and master of social entrepreneurship for that by chance no degree is required.
The nutshell and itty bitty of the whole discussion is this that you may have a source of leadership at any stage of life but be aware and seek guidelines from Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali as a role model he is a bona fide Ernest Hemingway of 21st century. He fulfills the credentials of Hemingway’s saying “A man is not made for defeat and if you want to overcome the world, overcome yourself”. Here we go.
