Omar Ayub Khan, a lawmaker from the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), attacked the eight-party ruling coalition in the National Assembly by calling the newly elected prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, a “product” of Form 47, a document that offers details about unconfirmed results of a constituency, such as the number of votes cast and cancelled. The PTI said that results of the general elections on February 8 were manipulated in Form 47s and that its mandate was stolen. The party created by Imran Khan also asserted that, according to Form 45 numbers, they had won 180 NA seats. Ayub described the Shehbaz-led administration as an extension of the previous one, which was led by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
