ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, warned Imran Khan on Friday that the current administration would not let him avoid the accountability process and urged him to appear in court on March 18 in compliance with court orders.
Speaking to the media, he stated that although it was not a difficult task for the government to apprehend Imran Khan, we wanted the legal system to find him guilty. He added that Farah Gogi continued to plunder the nation and move her wealth abroad while Khan was busy smearing others while he was engaged in corruption. Rana Sanaullah responded to a query by stating that PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had never disregarded the court, the law, or the legal system. Instead, he had appeared before both the court and a joint investigation. Commenting on unrest created by Imran’s party, he replied that Khan and his supporters had been found violating the law and order situation in Zaman Park, adding, Khan would be arrested as per the law of the country. No one is allowed to violate the country’s law, he added. To another query, he commented that “we will implement the court orders in letter and spirit regarding Imran’s presence before the court on March 18.
