Rejecting the idea that the defence ministers of Pakistan and Ukraine had discussed arms delivery during their phone call on Wednesday, Pakistan declared that it had neither given weapons to Ukraine nor planned to do so. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokeswoman for the Foreign Office, made it clear in a statement that Pakistan did not, as a matter of policy, provide armaments to a region that was engaged in conflict. “It has not supplied nor does it intend to supply any arms to Ukraine,” she stated. “Therefore, this subject was not covered in the phone call between the defence ministers of Pakistan and Ukraine on November 7, 2023,” she said. According to the spokeswoman, Pakistan has emphasised the necessity of a diplomatic resolution to the Ukrainian crisis.
