No compromise on honor and respect of martyrs: Naqvi

On Police Martyrs’ Day, which is marked on Sunday, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid heartfelt respect to the heroic sacrifices made by police martyrs.
He added in a statement on Police Martyrs’ Day that the day serves as a reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by courageous police officers who are the pride of the entire country.
The Minister of Interior reaffirmed that a true nation never forgets its martyrs.
He emphasised that there would be no giving in to the dignity and reverence for martyrs.
According to the interior minister, police personnel and officers have always been in the forefront of efforts to reduce crime.
He commended the province-level police forces for their efforts to uphold law and order.
He also paid tribute to the police officers and other military men who gave their lives fighting terrorism.
