Nishtar Medical University conducts white coat ceremony for new students

Multan: Nishtar Medical University White coat ceremony for first year MBBS session 2022-23 students was organized at Nishtar Medical University Assembly Hall. Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed was the chief guest of this prestigious event other participants included Principal Nishtar Medical College Prof. Dr. Rashid Qamar Rao, Prof. Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani, Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Hussain, Prof. Dr. Khalid Hussain, Prof. Dr. M. Abbas Naqvi, Prof. Dr. Azam Khan, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmad Choudhry and other senior faculty members, Students and their parents were included. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After reciting Naat Rasool Maqbool (peace be upon him), the national Anthem and a brief introduction of the university were presented.  The faculty members of Nishtar Medical University welcomed the new students by giving them white coats. On the other hand, the students also took an oath of commitment to this sacred profession and service to the suffering humanity.  Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed in his address congratulated the new students on the start of this great journey and wished them all the best.  On this occasion, he urged the new students to devote their energies in academic and research work aimed at helping the suffering humanity.
