Nine Khwarij killed during IBO: ISPR

On the night of October 23/24, the Security Forces carried out an intelligence-based operation IBO in Bajaur District, killing nine Khwarij, including two suicide bombers and a High Value Target Kharji kingpin Said Muhammad alias Qureshi Ustad.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the Army personnel successfully engaged the Khwarij site during the operation, and following a fierce firefight, nine Khwarij were killed.

The deceased Khwarij was found to have a significant amount of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. He continued to be actively involved in a number of terrorist attacks against both innocent civilians and security forces.

“Sanitisation operation is being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area,,” according to the ISPR.
