Need for national unity stressed

Chichawatni: Tehsil President Petroleum Association Hafiz Abdul Salam has said that the government and the opposition parties should sit together and decide on a plan of action to get rid of the problems faced by the people of Pakistan. And they are grinding in the mill of inflation, the hardworking, poor and the white-clad class are facing serious difficulties, people are craving for two-time bread, while the country’s economy has reached the brink of destruction, in view of these conditions. It is time to forget the political grudges and think about the wider interests of the people. Instead of retaliating against Tehreek-e-Insaf, the government is focusing on the country’s economy and using all its energies against the government of Imran Khan, which is a complete abuse. He expressed these views while talking to the journalists at the Chichawatni Press Club. He said that the government should follow the orders of the Supreme Court and finalize the preparations for the general elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and not the elections. It uses high-handed tactics to escape; the government is oppressing its own citizens by using tear gas and water cannons against peace, violence against innocent workers, which we strongly condemn.
