ISLAMABAD: Abdul Qadir Patel, the federal minister for national health services, regulations, and coordination, stated on Sunday, that effective measures were being taken to further enhance the national immunization program.
The Federal Directorate of Immunization’s annual meeting, which was attended by coordinators from every province and representatives from international organizations, was addressed by Qadir Patel, who stated that a cooperative strategy was being developed to guarantee 100 percent results by reaching everyone during every immunization drive in the nation. He stated that the government was developing a comprehensive plan for the total eradication of various diseases from the nation and added that it was the duty of the state to provide basic health facilities to its citizens.
He promised to use all available resources for the project and urged the provinces to guarantee complete immunization coverage in order to safeguard children. Despite the lack of a treatment, he claimed that the best way to protect children from various diseases was through vaccination. A child’s level of immunity to the virus increases with each vaccination. According to him, millions of children had been protected by routine immunizations, which allowed nearly all of the world’s countries to be free of various diseases. “Vaccinating our children, especially those under the age of five, is the only way to keep them safe. Parents and other adults must make sure that their children are immunized, especially in high-risk areas, Patel said.
