Nation to stand resolute against enemies creating fissures: COAS

General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), stated on Monday that the country will need to withstand its opponents’  determination and might as they use political, religious, and ethnic weaknesses to sow divisions. “Pakistan’s enemies are determined to use political, ethnic, and  religious weaknesses to sow divisions. Speaking here at Christ Church, where he joined the Christian  community in celebrating Christmas, the Army Chief stated, “We  have to stand together and united to rise as a resolute and strong  nation.” The COAS was greeted and thanked by the congregation for sharing the celebration. The Pakistani Christian community as a whole was wished a Merry Christmas by the Army Chief. Gen. Asim emphasised the importance of interfaith harmony while  expressing respect for the religious community.
