ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Monday that Imran Khan’s politics were founded on lies and that the country had been let down by his “somersaults.” Regarding Imran Niazi’s U-turns on his own prior stance, he said, “Imran Niazi’s antics and somersaults continue to disappoint the nation.” In an interview and a televised speech on Sunday, Imran Khan claimed that the United States was not responsible for the plot to remove him from office.
Imran’s statement contrasted sharply with his earlier position of accusation, in which he had identified the United States as a primary perpetrator of the “regime change.” “The only constant is his desperation to get back into power even if it means throwing the nation into a protracted period of instability,” the prime minister said. He claimed that Imran Niazi’s politics were founded on lies that were being exposed day by day.
