Naqvi vows tough action on drugs in schools

Mohsin Naqvi, the Federal Interior Minister and Minister for Narcotics Control, has praised the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for its continuous efforts to combat drug trade, especially in the nation’s educational institutions.

Minister Naqvi commended Director General ANF Major General Abdul Mueed and his staff for their hard work and performance during a high-level meeting. He emphasized the necessity of taking strong and ongoing action against individuals who sell narcotics to students, particularly ice (crystal meth).

The minister instructed officials to increase airport security and take firm action against traffickers who use drones in border regions in an effort to stop drug smuggling. He underlined that “big drug dealers must be brought to justice at all costs.”

Additionally, Minister Naqvi praised ANF for their accomplishment in obtaining the repatriation and release of a Pakistani family from Saudi Arabia.
