Naqvi meets Siri Lankan HC

The diplomatic triumph of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will enable 43 Pakistani nationals detained in Sri Lanka to return to their homeland.

It was decided to promptly repatriate 43 Pakistani nationals who were detained in Sri Lanka during a high-level meeting with Admiral (Retd) Ravindra Chandra Srivijay Gunaratne, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, on Friday.For the past month, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been collaborating with the Sri Lankan authorities to repatriate these detainees.

In this context, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka promised full cooperation.

The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka was praised by Interior Minister Monsin Naqvi for his backing of the convicts’ return home.

According to Mohsin Naqvi, the plans for the release of Pakistani detainees will be concluded in a few days.
