During the fiscal year 2023–24, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) recorded record revenue of 52 billion rupees, a first for the organization’s history.
Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the federal interior minister, expressed gratitude to the department for the accomplishment on Wednesday.
According to CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, special measures were implemented to generate revenue in accordance with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s orders.
According to the CDA chairman, the revenue exceeded the previous fiscal year’s target by 23% thanks to effective initiatives.
The CDA brought in Rs7.9 billion in revenue in just May and June, he added, adding that the revenue target for the fiscal year 2023–2024 was set at 41.8 billion rupees.
Randhawa underlined that the CDA is concentrating on alternate revenue streams rather than asset sales.
