At their meeting on Thursday, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi gave Chinese colleague Qi Yanjun an update on the status of the inquiry into the terror assault in Dasu that targeted Chinese nationals living in Pakistan.
Naqvi stated, “Foolproof arrangements have been made for the security of Chinese citizens,” during a meeting with the Chinese minister at China’s UN office in New York, USA.
Days after Islamabad authorised Operation Azm-e-Istehkam in response to a surge in terror attacks as “a collective multidimensional operation and national vision of the entire state system,” the two ministers will meet.
PauseNaqvi had previously promised to provide Chinese nationals working on various projects in Pakistan with impenetrable security when they met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong earlier this month.
