LAHORE: An accountability court rejected the pleas of Muslim League-N leaders Khawaja Saad and Salman Rafique in the Paragon Housing Society case.

The Paragon Housing case was heard in the accountability court of Lahore in which the NAB presented the Khwaja brothers to the court.

During the hearing, the Khwaja Brother’s lawyer argued that the Paragon Society is private, so the NAB cannot investigate because the private company’s case falls under the jurisdiction of the SECP, NAB investigated illegally and filed a reference.

Khwaja Brothers’ lawyer requested the court to withdraw the crime and release the accused.
