The National Assembly (NA) overwhelmingly approved a resolution sharply denouncing the brutality and tyranny of the Israeli regime in Palestine.
The House offered condolences to the family of Ismail Haniyeh and declared its total support with its Palestinian brothers and sisters. On behalf of all political parties, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, proposed the resolution in the House.
In addition, the House demanded that the international community act decisively to end Israel’s persecution and atrocities against the Palestinian people and to bring them to account.
In line with UN Security Council Resolution 2735 (2024), the house demanded an immediate and complete ceasefire, the provision of long-term, unrestricted humanitarian assistance to the struggling Palestinians, and the urgent departure of Israeli occupation forces from Gaza.
