Muqam honors the courage, resilience of Kashmiris

On the occasion of Kashmir Black Day, Engineer Amir Maqam, Minister for Kashmir Affairs, held a march in the federal capital on Sunday to show support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In his speech to the crowd, he recalled the unlawful entry of Indian forces into Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947, saying, “No Pakistani can forget this day.”

He praised the bravery of Kashmiris who persisted in their fight for independence 77 years later.

With more than 97,000 martyrs, many widows, and orphaned children, he emphasised the sacrifices made.

The minister urged the UN to confront what he described as genocide in Kashmir and voiced dissatisfaction with international human rights organisations.
