Moscow desires to enhance Pak-Russia bilateral ties: Valentina

Russia promises to strengthen its bilateral ties with Pakistan in a number of areas, such as trade, investment, and diplomacy.
Valentina Matviyenko, the visiting speaker of the Russian Federal Assembly’s Federation Council, made this statement today in Islamabad while meeting with Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani.
The topics pertaining to the advancement of diplomatic, economic, commercial, and legislative relations between the two nations were thoroughly reviewed during the conference.
Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, who spoke at the event, said that Valentina Matviyenko’s visit to Pakistan will strengthen ties between the two nations and advance peace, prosperity, and development in the area.
He valued Russia’s assistance to Pakistan in advancing the country’s oil and gas industry as well as its infrastructure development.
