In the 100 years since Pakistan gained its independence in 1947, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal expressed his expectation on Monday that the country’s economy will reach $3 trillion annually and rank in the top 10 globally.
According to the Minister, data sets, data integration, and artificial intelligence are important for any nation’s sustained economic development in the data-driven, knowledge economies that currently dominate the world.
This was said by Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, during his speech at the “Data Fest 2024,” which was hosted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) in this city.
