ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, Wasi Shah, the state minister for tourism, paid a visit to the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) in this city to examine the commission’s current initiative. According to a news release, Director General NAVTTC Dr. Khalid Mehmood gave the minister an update on the Youth Skill Development Programme (YSDP) and reaffirmed their commitment to cooperating to improve the organisation. Wasi Shah was also given an update on the accomplishments of NAVTTC and its initiatives aimed at empowering and skilling young people. The minister praised the NAVTTC’s initiatives and programmes for empowering young people and preparing them for global competition. He pledged to support NAVTTC’s communications campaign to entice young people to participate in skill-development programmes.
