On Tuesday, Dr. Nadeem Jan, Minister of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, suggested setting aside two percent of the GDP for the health sector. Sen. Prof. Dr. Mehr Taj Roghani moved a calling attention notice about the lack of vaccines in the nation, particularly the anti-diphtheria serum, with a focus on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has resulted in the tragic deaths of children. The minister responded by saying that our request to the next government would be to allocate at least two percent of the GDP for health, a sector that has been neglected by all previous governments. In reference to the Anti-Diphtheria Serum (ADC), he made it clear that the provinces were in charge of providing and acquiring ADC.
