Dr. Nadeem Jan, federal minister for health, stated on Tuesday that the health sector needed to promptly incorporate new, developing technologies. In a meeting with Dr. Umar Saif, the Federal Minister of Information Technology, he made this statement. They both talked on the current health sector reforms. They also spoke on advancing and collaborating with IT in the healthcare industry. Dr. Nadeem Jan stated that the government has set the groundwork for the Ministry of Health’s digitization while also stating that the ministry was working on the agenda for reforms in the healthcare industry. According to the minister, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan’s (DRAP) licencing and registration process has also gone digital. He also mentioned that government hospital pharmacies are becoming computerised.
