Minister discusses investment potential in KPT, other ports

On Wednesday, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh was visited by a delegation from the Hutchison Group, a well-known global network in port and logistics operations. The delegation discussed potential expansion projects in Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and perhaps other important ports throughout the nation.

Dr. Iram, Federal Secretary of Maritime Affairs, Chairman Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Chairman Port Qasim Authority, and other high Ministry officials were present at the meeting. According to a press release, prominent executives from Hutchison Ports, including Regional Head Andy Sui, Country Advisor HP, GM KICT, Changsu Key, and GM SAPT Unit, made up the delegation.

Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh welcomed everyone and underlined the significance of the visit as the proceedings got underway.
