Military warns of stern action against ‘malicious propaganda targeting armed forces’

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir expressed concerns on Tuesday at the 264th Corps Commanders’ Conference about malicious propaganda against the armed forces. He pledged to take decisive action against those who attempt to create a rift between the country and security forces by making false and baseless accusations.

The conference honoured the valiant sacrifices made by martyrs, including members of the military forces, law enforcement agencies (LEAs), and civilians who gave their lives to maintain security and peace in the nation.

The forum stated that there is a wider plan to create a rift between the populace and the Pakistani military, and that “baseless and unfounded allegations on law enforcement agencies and security forces have become a fashion.”
