Military has nothing to do with electoral process: Army top brass

In accordance with their mandate, the armed forces ensured the  peaceful conduct of the general elections in 2024 and remained  neutral throughout the electoral process. At the 263rd Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), which was  presided over by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Asim Munir on  Tuesday at GHQ, military authorities made note of it. Top military officials voiced disappointment on Tuesday that  certain political and social media figures were “maligning the armed forces” by spreading “unsubstantiated allegations of interference”  in the election process. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, presided over the 263rd Corps Commanders’ Conference at the General  Headquarters in Rawalpindi, where the observation was made. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) sent news release stating.
