ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Mian Javed Latif claimed on Monday that the May 9 incidents had rendered Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) irrelevant in national politics because the party’s leaders and members had been convicted of crimes for attacking government buildings.
Speaking to the media, he claimed that PTI was the chaos on May 9’s chief architect. He accused the PTI chairman of destroying state institutions through misguided policies. He claimed that since taking office, the coalition government has implemented strict measures to help the nation escape its economic crisis. He expressed optimism that the next government would be formed with a full mandate in response to a question about the future course of action for his party, the PML-N. We’ll implement significant changes in every institution to make quick progress.
To another query, he said there was no plan to delay general elections.
