May 9 cases: LHC declares Imran ‘s physical remand verdict ‘null and void’

In a ruling released on Thursday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) ruled that Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was “null and void” in the physical remand of his May 9 cases.
Judges Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Anwar-ul-Haq Pannu made up the two-member bench that deferred rulings on the petitions contesting the physical remand of the former prime minister.
The notice of the PTI founder’s appearance via the video link was deemed void by the high court as well.
Justice Saleem stated during today’s session that the suspect cannot be made to do a photogrammetric test against their will.
Pannu, meantime, asked the prosecution when he came up with the notion that we have to start using modern technology right away.
