Maria Jabeen Khan inaugurates digital census

Multan: Cantt, Cantonment Executive Officer Maria Jabeen Khan inaugurated the seventh box census and the first digital census by the first statistical code.
She was accompanied by Statistical Officer Zia ur Rehman and census team with them.
The 7th House Census across Pakistan is starting from March 1, 2023. This is the first digital census in Pakistan which will be conducted through TABs.
The first three days will be the listing work in which the buildings will be numbered and some basic information will be taken.
1: Name of the head of the household
2: Head’s mobile number
3: Household economic activity. After that the enumeration process will start in which all the information will be taken from each household so the general public is requested to write down the following information neatly on a piece of paper so that you can answer the enumeration staff’s questions. No hassles for answers and no waste of valuable staff time.
Three types of information will be collected from each household
Information of household members, information related to the building of the house, information related to the respondent.
Information related to household members
1: The names of all the members of the household and their relationship with the head of the household. Those persons who have been living outside the household for 6 months in connection with any government or private job or business, then they will not be registered in the household and neither will they. The head of the household will be counted.
2: Age of all persons in years (age in years completed
3: Sex
4: Marital status
5: Religion
6: Mother tongue
7: Nationality (name of the country of which the citizen is)
8: Educated / Illiterate
9: Educational qualification (passed classes)
10: Source of income
11: Work that is being done (job, business, agriculture or pension etc.)
12: Migration
13: District of birth
14: How long have you resided in the current district?
15: Difficulty seeing, hearing, walking or speaking
Information related to house building
1: Home ownership
2: Gender of the owner of the house
3: Number of rooms (animal and straw room will not count)
4: Period of house construction
5: Structure of house walls
6: Structure of the roof of the house
7: Kitchen facility
8: Cooking utensils
9: Source of drinking water
10: Light source
11: Bathroom
12: Toilets
13: Nature of toilets
14: Media
15: Overseas household members
Information related to the respondent
1: Name of Respondent
2: Paternity. Staff reporter
