Multan: FPCCI nominated Malik Tanveer Arshad as the convener of the Cotton Restoration Committee and congratulated by the leaders, Regional Chairman of Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan (FPCCI) Mohammad Nadeem Qureshi issued a notification appointing Malik Tanveer Arshad as the convener of FPCCI’s Cotton Restoration Committee. Malik Tanveer Arshad is associated with the cotton trader and an expert in his field and has chosen to play an important role in advancing the policy of FPCCI in this regard.
Newly appointed convener Malik Tanveer Arshad said that he will move forward with all the stakeholders for the revival of cotton so that they can play a role in the improvement of the country’s economy. Coordinator Malik Sohail Talat said that Malik Tanveer Arshad has been given the responsibility of the important department, he is talented and expert in this field. President South Punjab (BMP) Muhammad Saleem Bhullar said that earlier in 2021 Sohail Talat led this committee and rendered valuable services day and night for cotton recovery. After 14 years, the efforts of the Federation and committee were highlighted in the announcement of support price of cotton Rs. 5000 per maund by then Imran Khan Government. We will do our best to resolve the issues related to South Punjab as ever. Chairman BMP and former President FPCCI Mian Anjum Nisar and President FPCCI Irfan Iqbal Sheikh expressed good wishes.
