A project to give free insulin to children with diabetes has been started for the first time in Pakistan’s history.
Children with type 1 diabetes will receive insulin delivered straight to their homes per the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The goal of this program is to lessen the everyday hardships faced by parents and kids with this chronic illness.
Children with diabetes can now formally register under the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Insulin Program. Parents can register their children with diabetes from the comfort of their homes thanks to this program’s special facility. A dedicated helpline (1033) has been established to support the initiative and provide direction and support.
