ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that the government firmly believes in the rule of law and stressed that the law should be applied equally to the elite and ordinary citizens.
The Prime Minister was talking to a delegation of Justice Lawyers Forum (ILF) who called on him. The delegation includes Additional Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Amir Mehmood Kayani, ILF Chairman Senator Ali Zafar, Naveed Sohail Malik, Fayyaz Ahmed Mehr, Qaiser Abbas Shah, Umair Niazi, Anis Hashmi and Neha Wasim. Issues related to ILF were discussed during the meeting. The Prime Minister expressed these views while addressing the signing ceremony of an agreement between the Ministry of Climate Change and the World Bank for the launch of “Green Stimulus – Concept of Reality”.
Under the agreement, the World Bank is providing Rs 22 billion for 14 green initiatives across the country.
