Kurram AC sustains injuries in firing incident

According to a medical officials, Kurram Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Saeed Manan Khan was hurt in a shooting incident in Upper Kurram tehsil, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Friday.
The firing incident took place in the Boshehra neighborhood of Upper Kurram, according to Dr. Mir Hassan Jan, medical superintendent at the Parachinar District Headquarters Hospital.
“The Kurram AC was traveling to the Boshehra region to [implement] the ceasefire and was accompanied by police,” Dr. Jan stated.
Following a November attack on a truck in the Bagan area of Lower Kurram that killed over 40 people, at least 130 more people were killed in subsequent conflicts resulting from long-standing land disputes.
A major road was closed for weeks due to the unstable security situation, which left Parachinar without necessary supplies and medications.
