JUI-F striving for implementation of Islamic system in country: Senator Maulana Ata-ur-Rehman

Chichawatni: We do politics only for the dominance of Islam and not for our interests. These views were expressed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Senator Maulana Ata-ur-Rehman while addressing the grand gathering of “Azmat-e-Qur’an and Khatam-e-Nabuwat” held at Jamia Aziz Uloom Ghafoor Town. He said that the implementation of the religion of Islam is possible only through the assembly, for which the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is striving. Striving for the implementation of Islam is not only the responsibility of scholars but it is the duty of all Muslims. This is an individual new collective process for which we all have to work together. He said that scholars can truly represent the public. Calling the scholars sitting in the parliament as political clerics is a bad thought given by the British; otherwise religion and politics are not separate. Protection of Khatam-e-Nabuwat is one of our official duties, which we will continue to do in any situation. Maulana Ajmal Naumani, Zia-ul-Haq Chaudhry, Syed Fayaz Shah, Maulana Ismail Qatri, Maulana Habibullah, Hafeezullah Gujjar, Hafiz Muhammad Muawiya Rashid, Pirji Lutfur Rehman, Sheikh Haris, Asadullah Malik, Rana Mubeen, Malik Mubasher Saeem Asif Rashidi, Mufti Zafar Iqbal, Chaudhry Tufail Jat, Hafiz Bilal, Pirji Azizul Rehman and other religious and political leaders participated and addressed. Chief Guest Maulana Attaur Rahman gave the graduation ceremony to the graduating students with his blessed hand and also congratulated the teachers, parents of the children along with the head of the institution. Earlier, Maulana Attaur Rehman came to the residence of District Amir Ziaul Haque Chaudhry. There he met the political and religious leaders and also addressed the workers. At the end of the gathering, Pirji Azizul Rehman thanked the participants.
