Journalists’ delegation calls on Chiniot Deputy Commisioner

Chiniot: Press Club delegation met Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Asif Raza. Journalism is the fourth pillar of the state.  Correct identification of problems is the best means of reforming society and institutions, the district administration is trying to protect the rights of the people, and is taking indiscriminate actions to prevent illegal profiteers, hoarders and smog, Deputy Commissioner Asif Raza District Press Club.  In the meeting with the Chiniot delegation, he reiterated to express ideas and work together to solve public problems. In the meeting, President Press Club Chaudhry Shahid Mahmood, General Secretary Ghulam Murtaza, Sardar Aamir Mahmood. Additional General Secretary Aamir Siddiqui, Secretary Information Dr. Ramzan.  Shoaib, Senior Vice President Aurangzeb Malik, Vice President Sajid Munir Kalro, Dr. Syed Muzmal Hussain.  Syed Mudassar Kazmi, Haji Akram Sagar, Talha Shabbir, Malik Haroon Shaukat Daher, Dr. Khalid Yasin, Waqar Ghaman, Malik Sardar, Mehboob Alam Bhola, Jamal Abdul Nasser, Shah Zeb, officials of journalistic organizations of the district participated in large numbers.  Addressing the participants of the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that the media should highlight the measures taken by the district administration and other relevant institutions in the interest of the citizens in a positive light, by mobilizing the relevant institutions on identifying public problems.  Actions will be taken for solution.  Print media representatives inform the public about public welfare projects, government initiatives through news, columns, editorials etc.  The Deputy Commissioner further said to cooperate with the institutions for significant improvement in Chiniot city and beautification of the city.  All available resources will be utilized to solve public problems.
