Israel must lift illegal blockade on Gaza: Pakistan

UNITED NATIONS: Pakistan has demanded that Israel end its cruel siege of the Gaza Strip and permit unrestricted access to humanitarian relief for the Palestinian people who are suffering due to Israel’s ceaseless shelling of the enclave, which has caused great damage. The Tel Aviv regime is required by international law to carry out its obligations as an occupying Power, according to Ambassador Muhammad Usman Iqbal Jadoon, the deputy permanent representative of Pakistan to the UN, who made this statement during a panel discussion on the Palestinian issue. “The Second Committee of the General Assembly, which deals with economic and financial matters, needs to hear from him that the Palestinian people need protection, immediate and urgent humanitarian aid, and an end to the mass displacement.”
