Israel following path of pharaohs: PM Kakar

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, sharply denounced Israel’s  war on Gaza on Thursday, comparing it to the “pharaohs” who  slaughtered children at the time of the birth of Prophet Moses. He  also denounced the killing of Palestinian children in particular. The premier remarked, “Unfortunately, the people who claim to be  the followers of [Prophet] Moses are following the path of pharaohs,” and demanded that Israel immediately cease its invasion. While giving a speech in front of attendees from member nations at the 16th Economic Cooperation Organisation Summit in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, PM Kakar made his criticism. He demanded that the ECO members support the Palestinians right away, put an end to the violence’s ceasefire, and support the  humanitarian corridor in order to aid the “unfortunate” and ” defenceless” people of Palestine.
