Iran interested to initiate more electricity projects with Pakistan

In Tehran on Sunday, Power Minister Khurram Dastgir met with Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Mehrabian. Mutual areas of interest were discussed during the meeting, according to a press release. The Iranian Minister thanked the Pakistani authorities for swiftly constructing the transmission line needed to import electricity from Iran to Gwadar. Additionally, he expressed a desire to start more electricity-related projects with Pakistan. Khurram Dastgir expressed gratitude to his counterpart for expanding their partnership in the energy sector.
