Chief of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Jahangir Khan Tareen, stated that the party’s goal is to form a stable government upon the conclusion of the current five-year term in general elections in 2024. Speaking at a Lodhran election rally on Monday, Jahangir Tareen expressed his hope that a strong administration will be created during the general elections because weak governments have always led to issues and uncertainty in the nation. He remarked that the tradition of spreading false information about Pakistani regimes is bad luck and that his preferred government should serve out its full five-year term. According to Jahangir Tareen, the Lodhran poll this time will be historic and the IPP will win by a wide margin. In elaborating on his platform for political change, Tareen reiterated that his party would prioritise raising economic indicators if elected.
