Fatima disclosed that the nation’s internet infrastructure will be greatly enhanced by the installation of four new underwater cables, with data transit beginning in China.
She also emphasised the importance of digital infrastructure for economic growth by pointing out that nations with thriving export markets typically have higher internet connectivity.
