On Wednesday, the Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) Headquarters was visited by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Upon the Minister’s arrival at Headquarters, he was greeted by Brigadier Ghulam Abass, the Director General of Pakistan Coast Guards.The interior minister paid tribute to the martyrs for their ultimate sacrifice in defence of the nation and placed a flower wreath at the martyrs’ memorial.The Interior Minister was given an update on the professional matters of the Pakistan Coast Guards, including their endeavours to carry out their duties and stop all forms of smuggling, particularly those related to counter-narcotics operations.Mohsin Naqvi was apprised of the Pakistan Coast Guards’ expert training, the steps used to stop smuggling, the specifics of the narcotics, alcohol, and other general goods that were seized, including the burning of the seized substances.
