In a first, caretakers reach out to PTI for ‘ consensus’ on elections

BEIJING: Sami Saeed, the caretaker minister for planning, development, and special initiatives, has emphasised the critical role that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) plays in promoting regional connectivity and economic development. He has also highlighted Pakistan’s national pride in having made a significant contribution to the initiative’s success. The minister emphasised Pakistan’s resolve to fortify its alliance with China at the meeting with Chinese technology companies, with an emphasis on infrastructure development and sustainable growth. According to CEN on Tuesday, he went on to say that Pakistan’s active participation in the BRI demonstrated the nation’s unwavering commitment to developing relationships that benefit both parties and advancing international collaboration.
