Imran Khan gets bail in £190m case

Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, was granted bail on Wednesday by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in connection with the 190 million pound corruption case.
Two judges, Chief Justice Aamer Farooq of the IHC and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of the court, had reserved the decision a day prior following the conclusion of arguments by the prosecution team from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Imran’s attorney, Sardar Latif Khan Khosa.
The judge ordered a Rs. 1 million bail. Imran is still completing his terms in the cypher and iddat cases, thus he won’t be getting out of jail. The IHC suspended his sentences in two other Toshakhana cases.
