‘Immense opportunities for investment in Pakistan’’

Islamabad: According to Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Minister of Railways, Pakistan has enormous potential for French investment. In Islamabad, he was speaking with Nicolas Galey, the French ambassador to Pakistan. According to the Minister, Pakistan Railways is constructing a line from Kohat to Kharlachi in order to establish a connection with Afghanistan. Likewise, he stated that the French have a great investment opportunity with the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway M-6. He noted that there are investment prospects and that Pakistan National Shipping Corporation is also growing. The French Ambassador stated that Pakistan and France have a long history of collaboration and partnership. He mentioned that French investors had expressed interest in projects in Pakistan. He promised that they would continue courting their investors and that Pakistan would receive a big investment.
